COMMON SOFTWARE PLATFORM FOR WIRELESS DATALOGGER AND CABLE SYSTEMS
ValSuite is the common software platform for the wireless data loggers TrackSense Pro and the wired validation system E-Val Pro from Ellab. With ValSuite, both systems can be run in the same study. Up to 128 channels can be processed simultaneously. They can be grouped and analysed seperately (e.g. temperature distribution and penetration).
CREATE A STUDY
Use of Templates
Templates allow the administrator to set up detailed test criteria in advance. Informations on sensor placement, operator, test, vessel, temperature limits, start and stop times, sampling rates and special calculations can all be pre-set and saved. This ensures accurate documentation and proper set-up of process parameters required for reproducible tests.
Visualising Sensor Positions
Predefining sensor positions greatly reduces errors and the time to set up a study. A test setup report with fotos or shemes indicates where each sensor should be placed. Later, during the analysis, this information can be displayed and each sensor can be traced back to its position.
EVALUATE DATA
Graphical Evaluation
The software contains powerful data analysis capabilities. Data export to other programs are therefore not necessary which increases data security. The ability to zoom into graphs and display multiple windows simultaneously, the identification of important data is simplified. Graphs of several studies can be overlaid and data points can be compared. Thus, for example, changes from one re-qualification to the next can be quickly detected.
Statistical Evaluation
The software allows to compute various calculations, such as minimum / maximum values, standard deviation, mean, Delta T and lethality F0 for all channels of per channel group. The statistical values can be displayed in a graph or table. Statistics can be created for the whole process or for user defined process phases.
CREATE REPORTS AUTOMATICALLY
Create Validation Report
Validation reports with pass / fail criteria can be created automatically. They contain details of the mapping, user and vessel IDs, calibration offsets of the sensors, raw data and statistical summaries of the data.
Reports According to Relevant Norms
ValSuite also includes templates for reports that have specific requirements, such as EN ISO 17665 or EN ISO 15883. The templates can be predefined with own acceptance criteria. As a result, the time required for data analysis is greatly reduced.
Save Reports as PDF files
Reports can be reviewed with the print preview and saved as a PDF file. They can be provided with an electronic signature ID of the user.

CALIBRATIONS WITH VALSUITE
Prior to executing a temperature study, thermocouples should be calibrated and if necessary adjusted. For this purpose, a to a national standard traceable temperature standard must be used. The number of calibration points can be between 2 to 6. Criteria for stability and deviation are freely selectable.
MANUAL OR AUTOMATED CALIBRATIONS
Calibrations can be executed manually, semi-automatically or automatically. For automatic calibration, compatible temperature calibrators and standards must be used. The OEM version of ValSuite includes a large number of drivers for devices from other manufacturers, so you can use your existing calibration equipment.
The resulting calibration offeset values values for each thermocouple are stored in each connector which contains an EPROM. The thermocouples are thus interchangeable.
After a series of measurements a “post-calibration” (not adjustment) is carried out in order to prove that the sensor readings after the still meet the set criteria. The results of pre-calibration, adjustment and post-calibration are documented in the calibration report.
