APEX Remote include everything which is important for laser particle counters used in Environmental Monitoring Systems. APEX Remote are installed in accordance to a risk analysis and connected to the central data acquisition (SCADA). They provide real time continuous data collection offering unmatched performance, accuracy and reliability.
MEETING CURRENT INDUSTRY STANDARDS
APEX Remote particle counter models with pump, do not require an external vacuum source. Needed is only power and a network connection.
The self-contained vacuum pump includes a HEPA filtered exhaust and will not contaminate the surrounding environment. The enclosure has a sloped front face and is compatible with industry standard decontamination processes.
APEX Remote particle counter models with pump are smaller and operate much quieter than the successful, but now obsolete Lighthouse Remote particle counters models with pump 2014P/3014P/3104P/5014P/5104P as well as 3012PN/3104PN/5014PN/5104PN.
For easy integration of temperature and humidity measurement into the data managing system, a T/rH sensor can be connected directly to the particle counter. No further interface is needed.
Both APEX Remote with pump and APEX Remote for external vacuum supply transfer 2 or 4 channels of simultaneous particle count data. Both particle counter lines incorporate the same sensor technology and similar functions. They feature an ultra-long life laser diode, 3000 point data storage and advanced features such as a validation mode, an in-depth self-diagnostics, etc.
RISK MITIGATION OF SENSOR FAILURES AND DATA ERRORS
The risk mitigation feature of self-diagnostics virtually eliminate undetected malfunctions. The self-diagnostic technology continuously monitors the flow rate, laser and detector ensuring that while the data is being collected, the sensor is operating within specified tolerances. It will warn the operator if the instrument is ever out of specification. Data errors are detected early and largely excluded, ensuring better data integrity.
APEX Remote collects data also when there is a problem transmitting it to the SCADA monitoring system. The internal data buffer stores up to 3’000 data records. This corresponds to over 2 days of data at a sampling frequency of one measurement per minute.
Smart Bracket technology allows automatic sensor addressing and hot swapping of sensors. Particle data will automatically be tagged with the correct location ID.
INTEGRATING SEAMLESSLY WITH SMALL OR LARGE FACILITY MONITORING/MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS (FMS)
APEX Remote fix installed particle counters prove popular with system integrators and organizations wanting high performance, high quality particle sensors for continuous particle monitoring. Aside from classical cleanroom applications, they are ideal for monitoring laminar flow safety cabinets, RABS, isolators and other specialized equipment. APEX Remote particle counters either integrate into existing SCADA, BMS and LIMS-systems or are used for dedicated particle monitoring with a cleanroom monitoring software isolated from the rest of the facility.
Stream real time particle count data and sensor status information to any web enabled smart device (PC, Tablet, Smartphone) by simply accessing the IP address of the particle counter.
The data analysis and the creation of reports is done via a monitoring software.
