WIRELESS DATA LOGGERS FOR REAL TIME PROCESS DATA
The Sky radio module makes it possible to track process information in real time. Thus, the advantages of wireless data loggers (easy placement and installation) can be combined with those of conventional validation systems with thermocouples (real-time process information). The advantages become apparent in the cycle development, allowing the operator to respond immediately when needed, which saves time and costs.
The radio module is available for TrackSense Pro data logger and is inserted between the logger and the interchangeable sensors.
DATA LOGGER RADIO MODULE
The Sky radio module contains all the necessary components for wireless communication between the wireless data logger and the Sky Access Point.
If wireless communication is interrupted, no data is lost. All data is stored in the data logger and is transferred either when the connection is restored or when reading the data logger in the reader station.
When measuring in hard to reach places such as in corners of warehouses the logger can be placed once and then be left at its location and be controlled by radio.
RADIO ACCESS POINT
The Ellab Sky Access Point offers many advantages over standard WLAN access points. The proprietary wireless protocol reduces logger energy consumption and the access point rejects non proprietary radio signals thus increasing transmission quality and security.
The Sky Access Point comes with a standard antenna. To assure data transmission in difficult transmission environments, an antenna can be placed in the chamber.
With the Sky radio system, the logger can be started and read without having to place them in the reader station. For several consecutive measurements, the radio loggers can therefore be left in the chamber.
