MANIFOLD FOR MULTI-LOCATION AIR SAMPLING WITH ONE PARTICLE COUNTER

Manifold systems have been used for particle monitoring in controlled environments for many years. Unless continuous particle monitoring is required, air sampling from multiple locations within a clean area can be effectively performed with an aerosol dispenser system and just one particle counter.

The manifold distribution system uses a particle counter and a mechanical system to align the particle counter's sample inlet with the sample line to be sampled. Manifold systems come in different sizes depending on the number of sampling points required. In general, the distribution systems range from 5, 10, 20 to 30 sampling points.

Manifold systems can be connected to particle counters with flow rates of 0.1cfm (2.83lpm) or 1.0cfm (28.3lpm).
