Measuring and testing equipment that are used for quality assurance must be traceable to a national standard.
For in-house calibrations so-called working standards are used which are calibrated at regular intervals by an accredited calibration laboratory using a reference standard.
The recommended annual recertification by Bakrona includes an as-found control, the calibration in an accredited laboratory, and if necessary, the adjustment and recalibration in the adjusted condition.
Prior to the return delivery to the customer, a final inspection takes place and the instruments are reset to the customer-defined parameters as found when first received by the customer.
The calibration can be done over the entire range of -196 °C to 420 °C.
